Good art can be enjoyed at a number of levels. To get more meaning out of Karen's art, remember this one principle: everything, and we mean everything about each of her constructs means something. The shape of the canvas, the colors used, the placement and type of each object -- all communicate an important aspect of the message.
To get the most out of this art, look at it as deeply as you can. Whatever you believe it to mean, take that meaning as far as possible. And then take it one step further.
